A monthly invitation for the mum who needs a moment to herself

You love being mum.
But maybe sometimes you miss being you, too.

Motherhood changes so much. Your time, your relationships, what a normal day looks like to you now and the things that matter most to you.

And somewhere in all of that change, you feel as if you've lost yourself, and you find yourself wondering

Who am I now?

But what if you haven’t lost yourself?
What if you're simply just becoming someone new?

The Monthly Letter by Mama Who is an invitation to slow down, make a little space for yourself, and reconnect with who you are and who you're becoming.

A little something through your letterbox

What's inside the monthly letter?

Each month, you'll receive a letter designed to give you a little moment that's just for you.

A personal letter, journal pages, colourful collage papers, abstract art, a rest card and herbal tea on a sunlit table with a striped mug and a glass vase of flowers.

Inside you'll find:

A personal letter: a few words from me, written especially for the month.
Journal prompts: simple questions to help you pause and hear yourself again.
A creative activity: something playful and low-pressure with no artistic ability required.
Something to keep: a postcard or print
A little invitation to rest: a reminder that you don't always have to be doing.

The contents will change, but the intention will always be the same: to give you a little space to come back to yourself.

Emily, founder of Mama Who.

A note from Emily

I'm Emily, the mum behind Mama Who.

I'm a Breathwork & Meditation teacher, Life coach, creative, wife and mum.

I created Mama Who because becoming a mum made me ask a question I think many of us find ourselves asking: Who am I now?

I love being a mum. But I also found myself missing my space, my creativity and parts of my identity that had become quieter.

I've always found my way back to myself through creativity. And Mama Who is, in many ways, an expression of that, my own creative way of exploring this bigger question of who I am now, while creating space for other mums to explore it, too.

Over time, I began to realise that perhaps I didn't need to find my way back to who I was before.

I could discover who I was becoming.

So I created Mama Who as a space for mums to pause, reflect, create and reconnect with themselves as they navigate who they're becoming, too.

The Monthly Letter is a little piece of that.

This isn't homework.

Or another thing to add to your to-do list.

It's an invitation.

You might open your letter the day it arrives. You might open it three weeks later.

You might spend half an hour with it. Or five minutes over a cup of tea.

The Monthly Letter is designed to fit into real motherhood, just as it is.
